Game of Thrones is Pointless

Now that the dust has settled on Game of Thrones “The Long Night” of disappointment. Where do we go from her? Does anyone really care about the squabbling over the throne after the battle for life itself just ended with a whimper? Dan and Dave’s writing over the last 3 years sacrificing story for poor fan service and girl power says we will be in for more disappointment. So much so it appears GRRM himself is distancing himself from the ending.
