Endgame The endgame was to kill or decimate as many white men that Marvel could. Bruce Banner is now permanently green. Tony Stark is dead Steve Rogers has one foot in the grave. Thor is fat and an object of ridicule. Star Lord was dumped by his girlfriend. Hawkeye is a killer. All the major roles will now be taken over by women or persons of color, or even women of color. Ant man has dodged a bullet by surviving relatively unscathed, but you can bet you will never see him without the Wasp again. Spiderman is really a “boy,” still, so he doesn’t even count. Dr Strange told Tony to kill himself. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Marvel is going for woke. I am not saying any of the characters that are left aren’t admirable or good. Ok, except Captain Marvel, she’s just plain awful. I am saying that choices & plot driven by gender or skin tone are not necessarily well written, at least in this genre. Marvel has thrown out the baby with the bath water.
