In this episode of Star Trek Discovery. The crew is trapped in an alternate universe. The ships Doctor has been murdered. The main culprit is his boyfriend Lt. Stamets. There is no more spore drive. Ash, Micheal and Captain Lorca are on a mission on the alternate USS Shenzhou to retrieve data on the USS Defiant, which is from the future (The Tholian Web) and can possibly get them home.
